Comedian and TV presenter Steve Harvey has a true story of rags to riches, and one that many people don\u2019t even know about.These days he is considered one of the most influential celebrities in America, but few are aware of the grinding journey he had to embark upon as he fought for his dreams, enduring some dire situations and circumstances on his way to the top.<\/p>\n
Born in West Virginia to a coal miner, Steve Harvey didn\u2019t have a lot growing up. When he did set out to forge a career he had to fund his dream with a string of jobs including being a mailman, carpet cleaner and even a boxer.<\/p>\n
After his divorce from his first wife, he was sending his pay checks from his standup comedy gigs home to his kids, leaving him with hardly any money. As a difficult consequence, he found himself homeless.<\/p>\n
Ok, ILOSM we all know and love Steve Harvey, and we especially enjoyed that in the past couple of years, he\u2019s been in the \u201cgive back & inspirational\u201d stage of his life. He saw part of that \u201cgive back\u201d come full circle when he family appeared on the Steve Harvey show in 2015. Not sure how we missed this, but Steve Harvey invited his family on the his show and he was blown away by how he\u2019s\u00a0affected\u00a0seven of the most special people in his life.<\/p>\n
Since his impact on their lives is so great, they came up with an amazing way to visually express their love for him.<\/p>\n
On the\u00a0Steve Harvey Show, one by one the children took center stage to reflect on their fondest moments with their father. The seven Harvey kids \u2013 which included Steve\u2019s four biological children from his previous two marriages and his wife,\u00a0Marjorie Bridges-Woods\u2019 three biological children he helped raise \u2013 all spoke from their hearts. They laughed and shared emotional tears of joy.<\/p>\n
