The 45-year-old revealed the news in the new season of\u00a0The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>\u00a0which began airing last week.<\/p>\n

During the first\u00a0episode<\/a>, the Skims founder was chatting with her older sister,\u00a0Kourtney<\/a>, 46, about a recent hospital visit in which doctors discovered a \u2018little\u2019 aneurysm in her brain.<\/p>\n

The Mayo Clinic\u00a0explains<\/a>\u00a0that a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain, which experts believe grows because blood flowing through the blood vessel puts pressure on a weak area of the vessel wall.<\/p>\n

Brain aneurysms<\/a>\u00a0are common and most aren\u2019t serious, especially if they\u2019re small.<\/p>\n

However, they can become life-threatening if they rupture.<\/p>\n

During the session at Oxford Union, the retired astronaut was asked what the scariest moment of the journey to the moon was.<\/p>\n

He replied: \u201cScariest? It didn\u2019t happen. It could\u2019ve been scary.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is some missing context here \u2013 we\u2019ll get to that later.<\/p>\n

Kim\u2019s theory is that in the wake of Aldrin\u2019s old age (he\u2019s now 95 years old), he\u2019s struggling to keep the secret of the fake moon landing like he did when he was younger.<\/p>\n

Later speaking in a confessional, Kardashian doubled down on her beliefs.<\/p>\n

She says,\u00a0per<\/a>\u00a0PEOPLE: \u201cI don\u2019t think we did. I think it was fake. I\u2019ve seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn\u2019t happen. He says it all the time now, in interviews.\u201d<\/p>\n

Going on to explain what convinced her to feel this way, Kardashian details: \u201cWhy does Buzz Aldrin say it didn\u2019t happen? There\u2019s no gravity on the moon \u2014 why is the flag blowing?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?\u201d<\/p>\n

Now there\u2019s plenty of evidence to show Kardashian is wrong here, but most important is that Aldrin never actually said the moon landing didn\u2019t happen.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0original video\u00a0<\/a>of the Q&A with Aldrin shows him go on to reveal he was referring to a specific scary moment that fortunately \u2018didn\u2019t happen\u2019.<\/p>\n

He recalls noticing a broken circuit breaker when the astronauts returned to the shuttle and were preparing to return back to Earth.<\/p>\n

The circuit breaker controlled the \u2018engine arm\u2019 which Aldrin said was \u2018the one that gets us back in orbit and gets us back home\u2019.<\/p>\n

While this definitely would have been scary if Aldrin hadn\u2019t spotted it, he explained he pushed the circuit breaker back in with a felt tip pin, adding: \u201cI pushed it in two hours early. Piece of cake. No problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

So Aldrin wasn\u2019t saying the moon landing didn\u2019t help, he\u2019s saying he managed to avoid a scary moment through his quick thinking. It\u2019s likely Kim has never watched the full video where he explains what he means by his comments.<\/p>\n
