Jasmine Crockett’s Hilarious Response To Donald Trump’s Demolishing Of The East Wing Is Going Viral

This week, demolition photos of the East Wing went viral, and they were shocking…

Of course, Trump’s big construction project is taking place during the second-longest government shutdown in US history, as 25 states are reportedly set to pause SNAP benefits in November, leaving millions of Americans without food access.

Well, in response to Trump’s East Wing demolition, Representative Jasmine Crockett recently posted a TikTok parody video called “The D.C. Hillbillies: Orange Edition,” a spin on the ’60s TV sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies.
“Families can’t afford groceries but sure, let’s build a ballroom 🥴,” Crockett wrote in the caption.
The video showed different angles of the East Wing being torn apart, with The Beverly Hillbillies theme song “The Ballad of Jed Clampett” playing in the background.
The lyrics included: “Come and listen to a story ’bout a man named Jed, Poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed, Then one day, he was shooting at some food, And up through the ground come a bubbling crude.”
People were loving the song choice in the comments.
“I want to laugh and cry at the same time,” another person said.
“Next, you’re gonna see pieces of the White House online for sale..” this person said.
